At Chiltern Equine Clinic a large portion of our work is first opinion equine veterinary services however we do accept Equine referrals and second opinions.
Equine Referrals: We have a surgical suite at our hospital in Warfield and can take surgical referrals. We also accept referrals from all equine veterinary practices for lameness, medicine, poor performance and reproductive investigations.

Second Opinions: There are some cases were clients/ vets or insurance companies request a second opinion to ensure the horse/pony is on the correct course of treatment and has the correct diagnosis. Chiltern Equine Clinic is willing to accept second opinions. If a second opinion is requested we will contact the first opinion vet in line with ethical and RCVS guidelines.
