Breeding Soundness Examination
If you have just purchased a stallion, or you are going to use your stallion for the first time you may want to have a breeding soundness examination carried out before you commence. There is a standard practice of having stallions swabbed and blood sampled to check for transmissible venereal diseases.
The stallion will have a full clinical examination and evaluation of the reproductive tract. Reproductive abnormalities can be advised upon and further investigation can be carried out.
