Jayne Leaver

Jayne joined our yard team at Model Farm in 2013 following a career change from the customer service industry. Jayne worked on a large livery yard for 15 years where she was the assistant manager and was responsible for caring for other peoples horses and ponies. She has always been around horses from a young age and has built up a wealth of knowledge which she has brought forward to the clinic to ensure all the patients that come in receive the very best level of care.


Maria Bourne

Maria joined us in June 2015 to help run our busy yard at Blueberry farm. Maria has worked with horses for over 20 years so has a lot of experience in handling and riding. She has owned several horses over the years but currently has an ex-race horse that she enjoys competing in the race horse to riding horse classes as often as she can.


Joanne Darlington

Prior to starting at Chiltern Equine as yard manager Jo has gained a wealth of knowledge in the equine world working within various disciplines, however her passion lies within showjumping. Jo herself has competed to an international level. She started her career with horses at the age of 16 whereby she gained her BHSII exams. In her spare time Jo enjoys Ballroom Dancing and has a love of Flamingos.


Sarah Hallsworth

Sarah started her career with horses at Radnage House Riding School and gained her BHSHM. Sarah then moved on to working with point to pointers, then to racehorses. Sarah worked all over the country and enjoyed working in the big racing yards in Lambourn and Malton North Yorkshire before returning to her home town of High Wycombe. Sarah joined our Chiltern Equine Clinic team at Model Farm in March 2016.


Hayley Batchelor

Hayley has gained plenty of equine experience owning her first horse at the age of 15 and owned her for 28 years. Hayley started riding at the age of 6 and progressed to competing in dressage and showing as a teenager. Since then she has worked in a very busy riding school/livery yard where she looked after up to 30 horses. Hayley joined our Chiltern Equine team at Blueberry farm in 2016.

Alex Chapman

Alex joined Chiltern Equine in February 2020, having worked for over 10 years in the equine industry across the world including Ireland and Australia where he gained experience of working with wild and unhandled horses. Having started his career in racing, he moved to being an international show groom and is currently competing on his own horse in eventing and show-jumping.
